These consumers were asked what would make them want to buy a hybrid car; a dramatic improvement in gasoline economy, power, size and styling topped their list.  In addition, nearly all said they wouldn't mind plugging in at night if it meant getting electric fuel at 1/4 the cost of gasoline.
